We offer a number of activities for guests who are non-anglers
If you are not planning on fishing or are looking to take a break from world-class fishing during your stay, a member of the La Limay staff will accompany guests on all non-fishing activities.
- Horseback Riding
- Cooking Classes
- Wine & Museum Tours
Most of these activities take place at El Chocón, a town only half an hour from Estancia La Limay, which is known for its famous archaeological discoveries and its lake with a length of over 42 miles.
There are different hiking trails around the El Chocón area.
One of the hikes is along the Cañadón del Cocodrilo (Crocodile’s canyon), where you will find yourself walking through the amazing structures made of clay.
Another one is called the Hidden Canyon where you will discover dinosaur footprints along the way.
You will also get to enjoy a beautiful scenic view of the Giants of the South, a marvelous rock formation that arises from the lake.
If you are really interested in ancient history, not only will you see dinosaur footprints, this area is also where the largest carnivorous dinosaur in the world was found and it’s on display for you to see!
Only 2 hours from the ranch, there’s a beautiful winery we can visit, where we will taste wine and enjoy a delicious lunch.
All activities are included in our rate, there are no extra charges
